The Hellenic Baseball Softball Federation has started to lay the groundwork for the U-23 National team and hopes to field a team in the upcoming U-23 European Championship qualifier. We are continuing to look for young talented players in high school that will meet the under 23 years old criteria at the time of competition in 2025, 2026.
Scouting Director Scott Demetral has done a tremendous job identifying talent players with Greek heritage to continue to improve the exposure of the Greek Baseball Federation which will in turn generate more interest and support for the local players all across Greece.
We have identified some potential players such as:
Strat Vlahos, a catcher out of Chandler, Arizona, USA
Dimitri Angelakos, Georgia Tech, Woodstock, Georgia, USA
Maddox Mihalakis, University of Arizona, Hopkins, Minnesota, USA
Nicholas Angelakos, Berry College, Woodstock, Georgia, USA
Alexander Mihalakis, Long Beach State, Hopkins, Minnesota, USA
