Demetre Kokoris became pitching coach of the Greek National team in 2021 before the European Baseball Championship in Torino, Italy. Kokoris has built quite an impressive coaching resume over the past 20 years. He attended a junior college in Oregon to begin his coaching career and then graduated from the University of South Carolina where he was a student manager. Upon graduation, he went to get his MBA at Cal State Fullerton where he was a graduate assistant, focusing on day to day operations and getting his pitching coach career started.

Kokoris has 17 years of coaching under his belt, including a stop at the University of Oregon and 7 in Minor League baseball where he has been the pitching coach for the Vancouver Canadians (affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays) and now the bullpen coach for the Round Rock Express, the Triple-A affiliate club of the 2023 World Series Champion, Texas Rangers.
